Three nights in a Nubian guest house with the full sightseeing program: Nubian party, the High Dam, Philae by boat, the Nile islands, the Tombs of the Nobles and an optional Abu Simbel trip.

Itinerary

1. 1
   Day 1 · Welcome to Nubia

   Group pick-up from Aswan station, welcome drink and check-in. Introduction to Nubian culture with the trip supervisor, free walk in the village (crocodiles, colourful houses, Sudanese and Aswani henna), a Nubian party and a galabeya party. Dinner.

2. 2
   Day 2 · The dam, Philae & the market

   Breakfast, the Aswan Dam with a guide, the High Dam and the Soviet friendship monument, a boat trip to Philae Temple past the old Nubian villages, then a relaxing stop on Tangar island beach. Dinner, then free time in downtown Aswan and the tourist market.

   Day 3 · Nile islands & the Tombs of the Nobles

   Breakfast and a Nile tour: Saluga and Ghazal reserve, the Nilometer, the First Cataract, Elephantine Island and the Temple of Khnum, the Tombs of the Nobles, Qubbet El Hawa and the Botanical Island, past the Aga Khan mausoleum. Lunch on Fishermen's Island, dinner at the guest house and a special evening on the Nile.

   Optional · Abu Simbel

   Departure at 3 am to Abu Simbel temple, back around 1 pm.

   Day 4 · Departure

   Breakfast, check-out and a group drop-off (free service, not tied to train times).
